Course Description : The aim of this course is to teach the students the aspects of the rapid prototype development and introduce creative thinking to the students. Through out the course, the students will become familiarized with the state of the art tools and APIs. Our goal is to teach the students how to learn new concepts rapidly. Each week, the instructor will present a new topic and the students will develop software within the realm of the topic. The course will have three sessions. This will let the students learn the concepts early on the week, work on them and complete the project at the end of the week. Each lecture is interactive, i.e., after the topics are presented formally, students will start working on them immediately.

Course Mechanics : During the course, each student will team up with another student for each topic. The teams will be responsible to implement the project related to the topic. The team members will be assigned by the instructor randomly. However, the students can select their partners for creativity projects. The grade for each project will be based on student participation, achieving the project goals, documentation etc. Additionally each student will evaluate his/her partner for each project. There will be no exam but there could be small tasks that needs to be finished before the next class. During the class sessions, the students are required to work on class related topics. Other activities are not allowed and may result in some penalty in the project grade..
